VCCA has assisted in developing objective evaluation methods as a
means of determining which inmates are considered for opportunities
to participate in lower security level work assignments and
programs. These methods have helped ensure the safety of the
public During recent years, VCCA has enhanced its outlined objectives and has initiated sponsorship of various conferences that provides the Department of Corrections and the Treatment Staff skill building training as warranted for future expectations and mandates
